Green Dragon Inn

Meals at the rural country pub are sorted by a varied pub menu, with hot food served between 4pm and 10pm on Fridays; between 12pm and 10pm on Saturdays; and between 11.30am and 9pm on Sundays. There are Sunday roasts to get into, as well as Friday specials. Green Dragon Inn has a range of mixed hardstanding and grass pitches to choose from, plus access to free wifi, a washing-up area, baby changing facilities and a well-maintained bathroom block. This is a dog-friendly site close to lots of riverside and country walks, with visit-worthy local vistas including Admiral Rodney’s Pillar, Whitehouse Nature Reserve and Severn Farm Pond Nature Reserve (all a few minutes’ drive from base). The Offa’s Dyke trail is a few minutes’ walk from the site, running along the river to the north and inland through the fields to the south.
